The Gender thing in Spanish

And I´m going to told you that it´s not only spanish. So much languages use * the gender thing*.

THE ARTICLES
In English you use the article THE or a, an, without knowing gender. In spanish you can  be specific on  several things sometimes , and for sure you can be  specific on  the gender.

Plu.                       Los                       Las

• Articles a- an

                            Masculin            Feminine    
Sing.                       Un                       Una
Plu.                       Unos                    Unas.

Now, you are confuse. Because when can you use this? It´s  a flower female? Maybe! Let´s see!

-e (usually)           consonant (usually)
* usually: Are exceptions, like : Madre or jardín
