SIVAN TIPS FOR BEGINNERS: PART 2
Learn a new language it' s not easy. And When you start you can easily lost the motivation. What you need to don' t lost it it's follow some tips. This tips I used for myself when I learn English One year ago.
TEN TIPS FOR START LEARNING SPANISH.
1. Think about what you can do if you speak spanish. Think about one
objective. Maybe travel to some Spanish Speaker country and be able to enjoy with the friendly people in there.
2.
Share your new goal with someone that can motivate you.
When you share your goal, you do an step to make it real.
3. Look for a
good book and teacher. If you don' t want to pay an school look for someone who do classes. It' s important practice the pronunciation, speak and listening.
If you only study with visual, book and CD you will not be able to speak or maybe either understand.
4. Do some
notes around the house.
On the table write mesa, on the chair , silla... and everytime you use it you will see it. You will remember naturally.
5. Try to wake up and think in spanish for 30 minutes at the same time you are doing something.
If you are cooking try to think: I' m going to do an omelette, and a sandwich for luch(Voy a hacerme un huevo y un sandwich para comer.) Will be like your
30 minutes thinking -being Spanish.
First will be difficult but, you will be better very soon.
6. Try to
read a new in spanish and understand what happened.
7. Watch you
favorite movies in spanish. You probably know some part of the conversation so just try to listen in Spanish.
You will be bored the first time, and maybe tired to try to understand all the time. But you don' t need to watch it all. I did 15 minutes the first week, two days. The second week I add 10 minutes more...
and everyday I understand more.
8. If you decide
read, It' s better if you try with a but that
you really
like . Don' t try to read books for kids. You will be bored and also It' s that easy that nothing make sense.
Why the dog it' s worry?
This kind of books are good when you don' t know either the basic verbs.
9. Spanish friend. It' s very helpful if you have someone that you can send email, texting, or talk sometime. Also when you begin talking you can try to have a conversation on the phone. It' s not easy.
10. Stop thinking in all what doesn' t make sense when you translate literally.
Open your mind. Everything start making sense when you know more about the culture, the history, ...
